- 8.5The payment is refunded to the bank card specified in the application within 10 (ten) business days from the date the application is accepted. The refund card does not have to be the card used to pay for the exam, but it must belong to the candidate or to the person who made the payment.

9Special Accommodations
Candidates with disabilities or special educational needs may request additional accommodations for the exam (for example, special keyboards or screen magnification software). The request must be submitted at least 30 days before the exam date together with official supporting documents. The decision to grant accommodations is made in accordance with Certiport's Accommodations Policy.
10Pre-Exam Rules, Violations and Appeals
- 10.1Candidates must carefully read the instructions sent before the exam by email or via Telegram.
- 10.2The candidate must bring the original passport or ID card used to register for the exam.
- 10.3Entering the exam room with a phone, smartwatch, voice recorder, headphones or any other electronic device is strictly prohibited.
- 10.4During the exam, candidates' personal belongings (phone, bag, etc.) are kept in a designated area. The Edu-Action Test Centre is not liable for valuables.
- 10.5Video and audio monitoring is conducted during the exam. Where necessary, a biometric check (facial comparison) may be carried out. By accepting this offer, the candidate gives separate consent to video and audio recording and to the processing of their biometric data. Recordings are kept for 6 (six) months and may be used as evidence when reviewing appeals or violations.
- 10.6Violations (for example, asking for help, looking at a neighbor's screen, using cheat sheets or prohibited items) may result in cancellation of exam results, removal of the candidate from the exam room and non-refund of the amount paid.
- 10.7The candidate must arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. Candidates who arrive after the exam has started are not admitted, and the amount paid is not refunded.
- 10.8Appeals regarding exam administration: if the candidate disagrees with how the exam was organized and administered or with an invigilator's decision (including a decision on disqualification or suspension from services), they may submit a written appeal to the Edu-Action Test Centre within 3 (three) business days after the exam. The appeal must clearly state the candidate's full name, the exam name and date, and the reason for the disagreement. The Edu-Action Test Centre reviews the appeal based on the invigilator's report and system logs and sends the candidate a written response within 10 (ten) business days. Ordinary exam circumstances (other candidates typing, coughing, people entering or leaving the room) are not grounds for appeal.
- 10.9Comments on exam questions: if the candidate believes an exam question or task is incorrect or ambiguous, they may report it using the feedback (comment) function in the exam system. The comment must be written in the language in which the exam is taken. Feedback is reviewed by Certiport to improve question quality and does not affect the exam result. The Edu-Action Test Centre does not review requests concerning the content of exam questions.
- 10.10Appeals regarding the exam result (score): exam results are calculated automatically by the Certiport system, are final and are not subject to review. To protect exam security, information on whether the candidate's answers were correct and scoring details are not disclosed. A candidate who disagrees with the result may retake the exam in accordance with the retake procedure set out in these regulations.
11Conduct and Discipline During the Exam
- 11.1All candidates must strictly follow the invigilator's instructions.
- 11.2Failure to follow instructions, breach of discipline or disturbing other participants results in the candidate's immediate removal from the exam room.
- 11.3Using offensive language or behaving inappropriately results in cancellation of the exam and suspension of the candidate from the services of the Edu-Action Test Centre.
- 11.4Violators may be suspended from the services of the Edu-Action Test Centre for a set period. The violation is reported to Certiport; the decision to revoke the candidate's results and certificates is made by Certiport.
- 11.5During the suspension period, the candidate may not register for any exam at Edu-Action Test Centres. Any registrations made during this period will be cancelled.
- 11.6Tampering with software, recording, copying or distributing exam materials, attempting to sit the exam on behalf of another person or attempting to forge documents are serious violations and result in disqualification for 1 to 5 years.
12Scoring, Results and Certificate
- 12.1When the exam (module) ends, the candidate sees their score on the computer screen.
- 12.2Certiport exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 1000, with the passing score equated to 700 on this scale. The exact passing standard is shown in the score report provided at the end of the exam.
- 12.3The number of questions, task format (test questions or practical tasks) and exam time vary depending on the exam type.
- 12.4In multi-module programs (for example, IC3 Digital Literacy), modules are independent of each other and may be taken separately. If the candidate does not achieve the passing score, they retake only that module.
- 12.5Once the exam (for multi-module programs, all required modules) is passed, the system automatically generates the corresponding international certificate. All results and certificates appear in PDF format in the candidate's personal account at certiport.com. For some programs, a digital badge is also issued.
- 12.6Certificate validity depends on the program: some certificates do not expire, while others must be renewed after a set period. The exact period is determined by Certiport. Certiport may introduce new exam versions when content or standards are updated.
13Copyright and Confidentiality
- 13.1All exam materials are the property of Certiport; copying, reproducing or distributing them is strictly prohibited.
- 13.2The Edu-Action Test Centre is not the author or developer of the exam question bank. Exam questions, content and scoring criteria are developed and managed by Certiport. The Edu-Action Test Centre is not responsible for any changes to the question bank or exam content.
- 13.3Candidates' answers are not provided to them and are not used for training or demonstration purposes.
14Exam Retakes
- 14.1If the candidate does not pass the exam (module), they may retake it only in subsequent exam sessions; a same-day retake is not possible. The minimum waiting period before a retake is determined by Certiport's Retake Policy and the internal regulations of the Edu-Action Test Centre (for example, 21 days for IC3 GS6). Where the two differ, the longer period applies.
- 14.2In multi-module programs, the candidate pays for a retake only for the modules they did not pass.
- 14.3The Edu-Action Test Centre reserves the right to change its policy on retake terms, prices and discounts, and to set an additional fee where necessary.
- 14.4Previously passed exams and modules do not need to be retaken — their results are automatically kept in the candidate's personal account at certiport.com.
15Dispute Resolution
- 15.1All disputes and disagreements between the parties shall, where possible, be resolved through negotiation and mutual consultation. The parties shall strive to maintain constructive dialogue and take mutual interests into account.
- 15.2If no agreement is reached through negotiation, the party that considers its rights violated shall send a written claim to the other party. The claim is submitted through the official contact details of the Edu-Action Test Centre (postal address, email or other means of communication).
- 15.3A response to the claim shall be provided within 10 (ten) business days.
- 15.4If the dispute is not resolved through negotiation or written claims, it shall be settled in court in accordance with the applicable law of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- 15.5All court proceedings shall be conducted in the competent courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the jurisdiction established by law and the location of the parties.
- 15.6If a dispute concerns differing interpretations of certain provisions of this offer, a mutual written agreement of the parties shall prevail and shall confirm a single interpretation of the terms of the document.
16Amendments and Updates to the Terms
The Edu-Action Test Centre reserves the right to amend these terms, including exam prices, schedules and delivery formats. Candidates are notified of all changes via the official website or Telegram channel. Changes take effect from the date of publication on the official website and do not apply to registrations paid for before they take effect.
17Processing of Personal Data
- 17.1By registering for an exam, the candidate consents to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- 17.2Personal data is used solely for registration, certification and communication with the candidate, is stored in a database located in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and is retained after the process ends for the period established by law.
- 17.3For the purposes of administering the exam and issuing the certificate, the candidate's personal data (full name, date of birth, email, exam results) is transferred to the Certiport (Pearson VUE) system. By accepting this offer, the candidate consents to the cross-border transfer of their personal data. In addition, in cases provided for by law, data may be provided to competent state authorities.
